Jennifer Zung, PE, CFM, LEED APPrincipal Jennifer has over 16 years of experience working in the civil engineering and water resource field and was awarded the Idaho Business Woman of the Year Award in 2008. She is a professional civil engineer, a Principal of Harmony Design & Engineering, and worked in Colorado and the Philippines prior to moving to eastern Idaho. Jennifer is dedicated to high quality, cost effective, and resourceful engineering design and has special expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, and low-impact stormwater system design. She has built on her experience working in different climates and cultures and can provide very effective facilitation for meetings and charrettes that involve a variety of disciplines and stakeholders. Harmony Design & Engineering’s expertise and reputation in the sustainable development field has resulted in invitations for Jennifer to participate in panel discussions on the topics of “Green Development” and “Ag Lands and Open Space” at the Real Estate and Development Conference and the Planning in the West conferences sponsored by NewWest. Jennifer has also presented seminars on “Conservation Development” for the non-profit group Valley Advocates for Responsible Development. She is currently a member of the Driggs Design Review Committee and on the Board of Directors for the Smart Growth Coalition of Fremonty County. |
Randel Blough, LAPrincipal Randel is a registered Landscape Architect in Wyoming, Idaho, and Pennsylvania and has 22 years of experience in site design, landscape architecture, planning, site grading, and civil engineering design. Randel is a Principal and the lead land planner for Harmony Design & Engineering and his blend of landscape architecture and engineering experience offers a unique and broad based perspective to development projects. Randy's approachable personality and his attentiveness to details while keeping the big picture in focus results in uniquely designed projects. He is very active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and the Targhee Towne Water District. |
Jay Mazalewski, PEProject Manager Jay is a registered professional engineer in Idaho, Montana, and Massachusetts and has more than 11 years of experience working in the civil engineering field. He has special expertise in roadway design, site utility design, erosion control plans, stormwater plans, water systems, and wastewater systems. Jay has engineered and managed a variety of projects located throughout the United States including urban and rural areas of Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Jay is actively serving the Driggs community as a Driggs City Council member and chairman of the recently formed Parks and Recreation Committee. |
Gordon Goodell, EIProject Manager Gordon is currently working on his M.S. degree in Structural Engineering through the University of Idaho while working with Harmony Design & Engineering. He has 14 years of building experience as a carpenter, foreman and as principal of his own design-build firm. This strong building background informs his structural designs to help make them functional, cost-effective, and buildable. He specializes in residential and light commercial structural engineering using wood, steel, and concrete materials as well as alternative materials such as straw bale. |
Angie Rutherford, LEED APGIS Specialist Angie earned her Masters of Environmental Science from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and brings a range of environmental expertise to Harmony Design & Engineering. During her graduate work, Angie focused on land use planning as a vehicle to land conservation in the Western US and believes that smart planning can bring communities a strong sense of character and economic growth while conserving critical habitat. Angie effectively uses GIS software to perform spatial analysis for a variety of applications including hydrologic modeling, hydraulic modeling, and land use analysis. Mike Leake, EIProject Engineer Mike has 3 years experience working in the civil engineering field, as well as 9 months of construction engineering / management experience with Granite Construction, Inc. Having passed the Professional Engineering Exam in the state of Nevada on October 26, 2007 Mike is working toward gaining the experience needed to obtain is professional engineering license. He has a wide range of experience and provides engineering support for roadway design, utility design, grading plans, erosion control plans, hydrologic analysis, and hydraulic modeling using both CAD and GIS programs. Caleb RobertsCAD Technician Caleb has four years of experience working as a CAD technician for Harmony Design & Engineering and for an architecture and construction firm in Chicago. He is very proficient using AutoDesk softwared including CAD, Civil 3D and LDD and has experience using 3D modeling software such as Sketch-up. |
Linsey HayesLandscape Designer & Office Manager Linsey has a range of experience from restoration work to residential and commercial gardening. Linsey is committed to working with the Teton Valley community through outreach and education projects with the goal to protect natural resources and create sustainable communities. |
